Christ, can people stop pretending 5.7 is a good round for anything other than varmint hunting for like five goddamn minutes (though I wouldn't mind trying that with a can on it).
Why is 5.7 suddenly super popular with fudds? Did a patent recently expire or something opening the market to other mfg?

When 5.7 ammo was almost as cheap as 9mm I never shot my 9mm's, always the 5.7....love that thing but now its shelved and im back to 9mm.SG-1 and Splinter Cell are the reasons I always wanted one

I had a chance to buy one in the early 00’s for cheap. (Fn 5.7). The thing that had me interested was the round being able to pierce body armor. The guy who won the gun PPC shooting sold the gun to his cousin who was doing work at his house instead.
I bought a couple thousand rounds in '16 for what at the time was a smoking deal.
