The amount of people walking around with gopros on sticks and cameras was insane - some had media badges but not all - I usually just asked out of courtesy, and noone said no.

Follow up- Looks like the magpul magazines actually hold the rounds nicely.
I cant pop the rounds out through the lips- they have to slide out the front as expected.
The Christensen mag pops all the rounds out the lips if I lightly tap it on a table.

In a press release announcing the new bill, which will be referred to the House Judiciary Committee, Gaetz said House Republicans had the ATF in their “crosshairs.”
“The continued existence of the ATF is increasingly unwarranted based on the actions they’re taking to convert otherwise law-abiding people into felons,” Gaetz told Fox News in a phone interview. “My bill would abolish the ATF. If that doesn’t work, we’re going to try defunding the ATF. If that doesn’t work, we're going to target the individual bureaucrats at the top of the ATF who have exceeded their authority in rulemaking. And if that doesn’t work, we’re going to take a meat cleaver to the statutes that the ATF believes broadly authorize their actions.”

Glad that sorted the problem for you. I've had some aics magpul mags loaded to capacity for a few months now while I wait for the bolt action parts to arrive.

I asked them the first day (Im already back home now) they said as of now they arent sure but I wasnt the first person to ask so it may be something they offer standalone in the future - typical generic answer.If you get time today to ask S&W about the m&p magazine well I'd appreciate it

When I was with my buddy asking, buddy asked why specifically the S&W one since he thought a couple other manufacturers made mag wells that would fit that gun?I appreciate it

There are. But MOST of the ones I've seen only accept that same brand of magazine basepads.
In reality I'll probably end up getting the Taran Tactical one (for like $100 🙄) because you can theoretically use any basepads.
All my mags have 10-8/Apex basepads so no way I'm getting a magazine well and all new basepads, too.
Call 'em collect because they'll be using a payphone in prison when the forms get denied and the ATF has all of their info.
Aftermarket baseplates for a constant reminder of the weighted burden that is the California magazine capacity ban.
