Directed by David Yates. More pics HERE.
I can't wait to see this, but I'm worried about the impact Goblet of Fire's failure is going to have on it. They left out a lot of story and setup for the next chapter.
And, I worry that it's going to be as bad a treatment of Phoenix as Goblet was of its book.
What failure are you talking about? I thought that Goblet did well at the theaters.
I did see something online about Emma Watson saying that she wasn't sure that she wanted to do anymore Potter movies after this one. It said that Radcliffe and Grint had already pretty much signed on to do the last 2 movies but she said that she was going to wait and see if she actually wanted to commit to doing them.
Goblet of Fire ruled
I have not read any of the books.
"Did well at the theaters" is not the same as "Properly represented the book it was based on".
Ah I see what you were trying to say in your first post. I thought that Goblet was a good movie but I agree that ALOT of stuff got left out. However, To all those people that didn't read the book (which will be more than did read it) it was still a good movie with everything that you needed to make the storyline work.
The "Failure" of Goblet of Fire should have no effect on this movie, What it all depends on is who is the director of this movie? If it is the same as last movie then you probably won't like it. If not then there definitely won't be any effect.
she needs to come out with the last book already
if you had read the book you'd know that a lot of details were left out.
I can't wait for this movie. And I'm about to die for the last book.
the kids are soooooo grown up looking now.
I wasn't too pleased with GoF (as far as the movie, the book is still my favorite one of the series) but that's me being a stickler. hopefully Order will be Badass.
Order of the Phoenix was my favorite of the books. I'm worried that I won't enjoy it, because it's guaranteed not to live up to my expectations.
i'm scared that for the sake of time and continuity with GoF it'll be tweaked a LOT.
Good point. It's also a really long book. I hope they make it a 3 hour movie instead of chopping it down to 2.
I agree. Unfortunately I don't think that they will let it be that long. Probably 2.5 hrs like the others because they still have to cater to the parents and kids that are going to be the main target audience.
