So I was surfing around the internet, and found a recipe for homemade tannerite. Basically, all it is is Ammonium Nitrate, or 34-0-0 fertilizer you can get at any farm supply store (I know lowes carries it too, I used to work in the landscape department) You grind the ammonium-nitrate up really fine, with a mortar and pestol, or use an old blender and let it run for a while and chop it all up. You mix it 9 parts to 1 part oxidizer. For Oxidizer you use Dark Aluminum Powder. You can order a pound of it on ebay for about $20 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/India-Blackhead...ryZ88433QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem For example would work nicely. AT THE RANGE you mix the 2 together very carefully. And then...well you shoot at it. From what I've read, you need a big heavy bullet, so .22 and most pistol rounds are out of the question. I haven't done this before, but I found a few threads on the high road about it, and a few other sites talking about it. Has anyone messed with this stuff before? Seems like you could make 20 or so half pound containers of it for about $30 and an hours worth of time.
