I loved it. I think that it's their masterpiece. Great lyrics.
i dont like it much...the songs are pretty weak, and billy joel is too stupid to write good lyrics about anything but getting drunk/high and girl problems
Holy shit, Billy Joel wrote the lyrics for the new Green Day cd? I'll have to hear it.
I haven't got it yet but i have their other albums so i'll probably end up getting this one as well. Anybody else have any opinions on it?
i liked it
but you gotta remember that rock has changed alot since Green Days time
back in the day they were new, and had a new brand of rock to bring to the table
since then theyre original brand has been extorted and over done
so they just seem crappier because of the time span. sucks.
Green Day is an awesome band. They'll always be one of my favorites because they just rock and they're cool.
I love Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
I heard their new single...it's called 'Welcome To Paradise: Part Deux'
i quit listening to them after dookie. the rest was meh @ best.
I really liked this album. I think whoever said that we have to remember that rock has changed in the last ten years is right. Green Day is still one of the greatest bands out there, they just have an older sound. That and they've been calling this a "rock opera" since they announced it's release. So obviously it's not going to be the "normal" rock most of the world is used to.
Oh, and who said that Billy Joel only knows how to write about getting high and about girls? *checks* that's right, queerosaurus. have you really listened to it? Most of the songs are actually political. Sure there's Extraordinary Girl and She's a Rebel, but what about Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Jesus of Suburbia and American Idiot?
Yeah Billy Joel writes awesome songs like "Piano Man" and "We Didn't Start The Fire"
ahh... shit, I did it too... bah!
you all know who I meant!
oh noes i added an L by accident!!11
