I just bought a Blue-Ray player and high def monitor for my desktop, get it all installed put a movie in and it says it can not play it, and since the software is from cyberlink to download their Blue-Ray Digital advisor tool. So I run it and everything is compatible except at the bottom it says "Video connection type: Digital (without HDCP).
Drive - Sony Blue-Ray model BDU-X10S
Monitor - Dell S2209W 22in 1080p 1920 x 1080 HDCP compliant
Video - Dual Nvidia 7900GTX's on SLI
OS - Vista Ultimate 64bit
-Yes the resolution is at 1920 x 1080
-Yes drivers and firmware are up to date
-Yes software is up to date
-Yes its plugged into the DVI ports
I am thinking it might be a problem with the monitor itself or the DVI cable itself is not working properly but figured that would throw off the colors on my computer anyhow and it looks clear and crisp.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
