This is the same friend that's on the no-carb no-fat diet. Refer to this post: http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=1804116 He came to me bragging about losing 7 lbs in 4 days and I just laughed. I'm guessing: a.) He starved himself for 4 days and lost all his water weight and probably some muscle. b.) He originally weighed himself in clothes + shoes then weighed himself again in 4 days in underwear and after taking a dump and peeing. Knowing him he's already put all that weight back on (or maybe more.) I've offered him help sooo many times now with exercises and diet and he just doesn't take any of it . I've lost 26 lbs as of this morning and all I'm doing is eating a balanced diet and taking a little extra effort to be more active (riding my bike to work, parking my car farther out in the lot, walking the dog, etc.) I'm not sure exactly what he's doing wrong, but IMO he just has the wrong attitude going into it. He's your typical high-rep/low-weight, curls, bench presses, and 500 crunches type of person. I guess these types of friends can be useful. They're good motivation because I was exactly like him before I became informed and got all sorts of help from you guys. So thanks F&N, for making my day.
