I recently started lifting weights to tone up my body. I am 6ft tall and weigh about 69 kg (or 152 pounds). This is fairly light, and I am fairly emaciated but I still have excess fat on my stomach/hips/legs/arms etc. My friend has explained the whole bulking/cutting process to me, and says it would be counter-productive to lift weights and go jogging at the same time, but I figured that jogging would help burn fat while lifting weights would help me bulk up. Is it possible to do this at the same time? I don't really want to spend 6 months lifting then x amount of time cutting, I don't have that long of an attention span. Any advice? Note that I have no desire to become stronger or become ridiculously cut, I just want to have a reasonable looking body and at the moment it's misshappen.
