I just reformatted (Windows XP home) my laptop, and for some reason I cant get any new drivers to install for my video card. I have a 32MB Mobility Radeon 9000. I have gone to the ATI website and downloaded the latest driver, however when I try to install it, it says I dont have the right software/hardware. I tried a few month older drivers, but they dont work either. So right now my driver is the one from the XP reinstall disk that is over a year old. Why won't it install? Before I reformatted, it worked fine and I could run half-life at max options with no problems at all. but now I cant even get it to run moderately smoothly. Please help!!!1 this is the driver I am trying to install that wont work, I am pretty sure it is the right one http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/...tsXPdriver&submit.x=10&submit.y=11&submit=GO!
