This is what I've been doing for a little while now while cutting... 8am breakfast Protein shake (1 scoop whey, 1 banana, water) piece of fruit, usually an apple 12pm lunch 1 piece of boneless chicken breast about a cup, maybe 2 of mixed vegetables 5pm pre-workout Balance protein/energy bar, maybe a shake 9pm dinner usually more chicken and vegetables, sometimes pasta, sometimes steak, and sometimes a sandwich... depends on what is in the house, but usually always healthy. I only drink water during the day. Sometimes I have Gatorade with dinner, or during my workout. Otherwise it's just water all day. I know I'm eating "well", but I don't know if this is the best route for me. Sometimes I'll bring in a cup of soup to eat at about 10am and eat lunch at 1pm instead. But generally this is about what I'm eating. Sometime's I'll have a protein shake before going to train as well... I train from about 6pm-9pm pretty much monday through thursday. I'm 6'1" 225, wanting to cut to about 200. I also lift in the mornings briefly along with cardio 3 days a week (when I get back to lifting, was injured). Lifting is obviously not my focus though. Otherwise, I assume I could/should eat more during the day... but I don't have much access to a refridgerator in the shop.
