Need help with a custom PWO shake I've been trying to work out a custom formula for a post-work out shake here: http://www.trueprotein.com/custom_product.aspx My goals and work outs are probably alot different than most people here, but I figured posting in F&N would get the most knowledgeable responses. Just to give a little background information I've been training MMA 4 hours a day 6 days a week. Basically I'm constantly boxing, wrestling, etc with alot of plyometrics in between. I usually lift 4 times a week, which mostly consists of cleans, dead lifts, etc...things for functional strength and explosive power. Anyway, it's all really taking a toll on my body and I thought I might be worth while to try something new. All I take right now is a multivitamin in the morning. My supply of whey ran out about a week ago. Basically what I'm looking for is something that will aid in recovery. I'm not trying to cut or bulk. Weight isn't an issue although I'd rather stay close to where I'm at. This is the formula I've worked out at trueprotein although to be honest alot of it is over my head. Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High Grade 25% Dextrose 25% Malodextrin 25% BCAA 10% Glutamine Peptides 10% Flax Seed Oil Powder 5% Any suggestions/advice/critiques would really be appreciated. Thanks.
