So a friend of mine used to be in fantastic shape. She was a competitive athlete and always very fit. About 2 years back, she had a battle with cancer and as a result put on a great deal of weight, and lost any muscle she carried. Good news is, she beat the cancer, and has dropped some weight and resumed her triathlon training. She said in the past her race weight would be around 125, normal weight around 135. She is sitting somewhere around 170 now. She is training twice a day 3-4 days a week, and once a day 2x a week, usually swimming in the morning, running in the evening. The thing that's killing me is her diet is already very good compared to most people. I've told her to cut out a few things, but for the most part it's pretty good. All I really want to see is her eliminate some simple carbs and fats from a couple meals and bump her protein. She's dead set on competing again by summer, so I've gotta make this happen. Looking for support from my f+n brotatos.
