Does anybody have the link to the site that lists the pressures needed to close the HG's and COC's?
just look at the grip
I used a bathroom scale and found the HG 200 to require about 10lbs more to close than a CoC #1. Not the most controlled method I know, but I wasn't concerned about doing an exact analysis.
There really isn't any. But it is something like this. Grippers vary though so some will be easier or harder than others.
HG100 < trainer
HG150 >/= Tainer
HG200 ~ 1
HG250 ~ 2
HG300 ~ 2.5
Eh? How'd you figure that out?
Thats how most people do it.
I had a bunch of people over last night and somebody fucking walked off with my HG200 . Thats fucking shady. That was th eonly one that was even remotely difficult for me of the ones that I have.
Grouch... putting ring clamps/spring on an HG100 or HG150? how much more difficult could that possibly make it?
if you put a hose clap through the spring you could make the 150 much harder, but its going to change how the spring rate feels, its going to get much harder sooner.
Would just any hose clamp work or does it have to be a pretty heavy duty one?
just any small one.
WOOT WOOOT! it turns out nobody stole it, it was just very well hidden. I could easily close it 10x yesterday with the right and maybe 5 with the left though and now it seems much much more difficult.
good going get your self a coc2 if you dont already have a HG250
Really? just skip right ahead to a COC2?
yeah the #2 and the 250 are pretty close in strenght I think my 250 might even be a tad bit harder. But CoC still seem to hold up better over the long run. As great as HGs are for the money their quaility control doesn't seem to as good as Iron minds.
Any deals out there on any of the grippers? I remember a few months back there was a website running a promo for 5 grippers.....
