Picked it up today.
Sling and mounting hardware
Charging handle, tool, and trigger lock
those two firearms don't belong in the same picture.....
Had to balance out the ugliness.
How someone took inspiration from this:
To get the stock on this:
Is beyond me...
The thing needs a ATI stock stat
Ugly guns but very reliable.
Don't get the 15 round promag mags, They are poomags for sure.
Is that a DW Valor next to your BB gun?
at receiver bolts. I've never actually paid enough attention to that thing to see that it uses actual bolts.
This. I shot one with the ATI stock (which quite possibly might be the only stock of theirs I wouldn't just as soon set fire to), and it was actually pretty cool.
If they would make one that took Glock mags, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
and yet the kel-tec version that takes glock mags is shit according to the operators around here
It's uglier and twice as much almost. I see those hi-points selling for ~$100 every once and a while.
Everyone I know that has one of these absolutely loves it. I've thought about getting one every so often.
Any recommendations for a soft case? Not sure how long the ATI stock is.
We don't deal with any Hi Points anymore. Too much of a headache to sell them.
i know, right?
looks like something you'd buy in Pakistan
I've still yet to figure out why someone would manufacture such a monstrosity...even from a cost saving stand point....the lines of the gun make no sense...
looks like shit, shoots like a dream.
I've owned 3, never had a problem selling them. You toss up an ad and get 10 calls within the first day.
Used to be able to find used ones for under 100 bucks but people got smart and realized that they are worth keeping around.
man why can't someone make a carbine that doesn't look like dogshit, is reliable, and takes glock mags for <200
I think dealer cost for these is $100. I think for Hi-Point, they cost low because they use proprietary mags. For Kel-tec, they cost higher because they don't get sales from accessories (mags).
Hi-Point is supposed to unveil a new stock design this year.
Yeah and it looks damn good.
Plus, anything you fuck up on a hi-point, they replace the damn gun for free.
And send you a free mag.
