havn't even watched it yet
That fight was such a joke. He was just a punching bag for him. Altman didn't at any point even attempt to take him down even though he left himself open for takedowns almost the entire fight. He even had Cung Le's fucking leg after a kick and just let go.
I would not be surprised one bit, especially with it being Cung Le, if he payed him off.
supposedly they are like training partners or some shit? or at least good friends? and le already ko'd him in san shou?
I call shenanigans
I would pay a rediculous amount of money just to see him go up against a decent fighter and I would put all my money on the nobody. Cung le supposedley has good ground game, but he would freeze up the second that he got taken down and started taking blows. He has been trying to pamper his image so much that he wouldn't know how to handle the situation. Hell, I bet he's not even allowed to be punched in training
They just gave him a can to pump up his image, I imagine if he does continue in MMA he will be fed 2/3 more cans before he actually fights a quality opponent. The guy didn't even try a takedown, it looked like a standard sanshou match.
wow... definitely looks like a work. And, that "knockout punch" ...ummmm... yeah...
Yup....feeding him cans. Wouldn't last long with most top 10 fighters.
Wow, Cung lee looks so much better in K1.
It didn't look like Mike took a dive, but he sure as hell didn't do much but stand there and get rattled. If this wasn't Mike's MMA debut it sure as hell looked like it.
didn't even seem like he wanted to fight mma. he still had a san shou mindset. that was the most boring fight i've ever seen. it looked like point sparring
god he stumbles around like a jackass trying to throw all those crazy kicks.
No. If it was to look like a standard sanshou match there would be a lot of takedowns.
what a faggot
I really want to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, but it's somewhat hard after such a debut.
