^typical ot response
if plate says "YER SLO" its not real
too bad they're being discontinued
didnt the monaro look like the chevelles back in the day?
so it's a GTO that someone spent a ton of money to turn it back into the car it was when it left Aust?
probably not a real one...but who cares, that's the way a GTO should look, and it's sick as fawk!
i think so...
that a chevelle...?
Isn't that just a GTO with a Monaro Body Kit?
still looks sweet
I actually found the complete kit (front/read fenders, side skits) for $800 unpainted of course.
its not a body kit its just monaro body panels since they are the same car
Awesome holden history page:
ehh, not rly, let me check it out
hmmm i got no idea... that was a 76 monaro i think???
i always thought they were an aus built car, so ur chevelle might be similar but i dont thinks its the same...
i hate that god damn hood.
they are, i remember seeing monaros on cardomain that looked exactly like the late 60's early 70's chevelles... but this was a few years ago, so i dont remember
exact opposite of first response
That's HRJ's Monaro. He's a moderator over at ls1gto.com. It's one of the nicest and cleanest in the country.
Most people are just putting on the Monaro fascia and calling it quits, which is lame.
HRJ went through all the trouble to return every detail of the car to what it's supposed to be including the interior. Every interior badge, the valve covers, even the gauge cluster are as they were meant to be when the car was designed.
And whats weird is we have tonnes of people doing that over here, but converting them to GTOs. Human nature to be different i guess.
