Nice! I am jealous...hurry up and get some pics + scan so we can see them. I love shooting med format.
Nioce. FTW. Now go buy a digital back.
Yes and no...
Technically, it belongs to the school I work for.
But I put the budget together, got it approved, and am currently 'testing' it...
Which means it'll never leave my office.
See link above.
Does it have the digital back on it already? Where did you get the camera from?
And what post pro software are you using I can recommend some really good ones for that camera , great workflow and great results.
hahahaha I did not even see the back on it. *even more jealous now* loaner it or buy it?
Yikes! Now jealousy ensues.

Wow! Thats hot!
For the noobs, what exactly are we looking at.
I might shoot my night contest shot with it...
Click the link.
Or, here... Just read the text...
whats your job at the school
Apparently buy outrageously priced shit.
Any examples of a $14,000 photo?
Technology Services Supervisor...
God, I hate job titles...
No, I'm in charge of getting the new technology that the education department 'needs', then getting it to work on our Mac/PC equipment.
For example, for this camera, I'm going to figure out what software needs to be installed to read it's RAW data (ACR can't do it...), then decide what we need to do in order to make it efficient for the people who use the camera to convert there data, without being forced into installed more software on every machine.
What I think i'm going to end up doing is getting a 15" macbook pro, and installed the hasselblad RAW converter and Adobe lightroom, and then getting a bag to safely hold both. This way, whoever's using it can just plug the CF card in, convert the files to DNG's, look at them in lightroom, then pull them off with an external HD and give the machine back...
Not that any of you are still reading...
But I don't have any pics yet. Just got home with it. Will prolly shoot for fun this weekend...
Jesus. Reborn as a camera.
and by I mean
so does the crank on the side power it, that's pretty ghetto for a $14,000 camera, you'd think it would have a battery
