Eventually somebody will offer full price or it will drop and we'll see what happens.

Not too many ghetto areas in the Western Burbs - Elgin and Aurora have some shady spots by their respective river boat casinos but overall don't have to worry about it much. I still drive to work so can't go too far.

i hate the housing market because in 2008-2009 i didn't have the money for a down payment, or the job stability to consider buying a home.
houses that sold in 2008-2009 were on average 170k
fast forward to 2023 when i have a large down payment available and job stability....
those same exact homes are being sold today for 360k as fast as they can list them, mother FUCK that
