your definition of a "real" city relies on population density, which almost no other "real" definition of a city requires

Welcome to 50 pages of Texan rage ago.

Real cities: London, Paris, New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Tokyo, etc.

What do these all have in common that no "city" in Texas has?

(note to Texans: list is not all-inclusive)

i wouldn't put Boston on THAT tier of cities.

how about an argument from proportionality? given how sparse TX is, it's fair to scale down it's density requirements?

Density is the underlying factor for defining a city versus a town. Land area is the underlying factor for defining a county versus a city or town.

Every "city" in Texas has low density and large area. None of them are real cities.

Remember when they tried to hold up the adoption of the bill of rights and the rest of America told them to fuck off and adopted it anyways in the name of freedom?

just because they drew borders around some dirt does not make them a state

they're more a sovereign principality

I think if you told anyone in the world Houston is a town not a city they would laugh in your face.

No, the more ridiculous part is that he associates living in one of these cities with intelligence. That's why he keeps mentioning Boston as if that validates himself as being intelligent.

This is one of the most fascinating things ive seen in some time.

Watery tarts distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power is derived from the masses!

jason, as soon as density is factored out, and just population is taken into account, DFW and houston are 2 of the three biggest west of mississippi.
