I agree about deeper feelings, but also a sense of meaning. I mean once i die there is really nothing else to live beyond me. I didn't create any art or music, I didn't make scientific or social progress. Sure, i enjoyed my life, but it had very little meaning.

I was full on the no kids train, though always felt I miiiight have some thoughts of kids, until my family recently bought some property that were developing with a shop and house etc. My brother is doubtful to have kids so I have thoughts of wanting to have kids to be able to pass it down to.

In. 37 now, and I talked to my doctor about getting snipped when I was 22. Never really wanted kids, and now I can't imagine the world that I'd be leaving them if I had one. My SO was ok with it when we talked about it. Their mom had a serious mental break and was never the same after the first kid. I think it put SO off the idea.
