Anyone know? Will the SVCD option in nero do the job?
Nero should be able to do it, but i'll take twice as long to do then what TMPGEnc can do
Go to http://www.dvdrhelp.com for tutorials on how to make S/VCDs from any video format
i am about to wade through this myself. looks like a fair amount of work. i downloaded the utils here and was going to follow these directions, but i will take a look at wolf's link too.
One tip I will give
Use VirutalDub to extract the audio track to a wav
Then use TMPGEnc to encode the video, using the original video source and then using the wav you made as the audio source.
This guide can explain it better http://www.dvdrhelp.com/divxtovcd.htm
