Im on a tight budget and want a glock. I don't want to pay out the nose for a 19 unless I have to. 17's seem to be pretty affrodable, so how concealable are they?
so the concensus is 19 > 17. Whats the differance between a 19 and 26? I'm a glock newb, only stipulation I really have is i want to stay with the 9mm caliber
1. Where are you? When I bought my 17 there was a 19 right next to it for the same price. I bought mine as a plinker so I went with the longer barrel and larger frame.
2. I find the most difficult part of a handgun to conceal is the grip. I have an XD 40 SC for CC with a pinky extension. With the pinky extension, it might as well be a full size XD IMO.
All that being said the G17 is roughly .5" larger in length and height. None of us know your body type, so we cant really tell how difficult it would be to conceal. I put my G17 with 33rnd magazine in a Comptac Mtac holster and you couldnt see a thing until I bent over and I am 5'11" and 190 lbs. (I did this as a joke in my living room. I dont carry the G17.)
