Firefox should be listed in the Add/Remove programs.

However the problem could be just with the an extension or a theme or something else with in your Profile folder

    Win2k/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
    Win98/ME: C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Try just renaming the Profile folder and start up FF again and see if you get the same problem. If not (I didn't see anything wrong, but then you didn't really explain your issues at all), then the problem is within the Profile folder.
Then try to rename the new Profile folder and put the old Profile folder back to normal, start up FF and uninstall all of the extensions and restart FF to see if the problem remains. If it does and you have themes installed, uninstall those and restart FF again and try yet again.
Once you've finally got it working correctly, now it's a long trial and error period of installing one theme at a time to find the one that causes the problem, and doing the same for the extensions.
