There's a local body piercing shop near me. Does it really matter?
ask to see the piercers portfolio... its kinda tricky to see anything wrong if you dont know what to look for.. best thing to do is ask people around, get refered to a place.. ask around what are some good shops
in certain states they are required to keep record of spore test growth. Ask to see that, If they haven't passed the last two times, go some where else.
What is the name of the shop? You'd be suprised how many reviews you can find, even of the littlest shop, on the web
This with a little bit of footwork and word of mouth can save you from getting a shitty piercing. Just ask around and find out what you can about the shop. It is always nice to get opinions on the shop before you get work done.
If it smells clean, it probably is.
If it looks clean, it probably is.
are the artists wearing clean clothing,
Never be afraid to ask questions,,ask to see their autoclave,.are the needles, clamps and jewelry in sterile bags and opened in front of you.
do they subscribe to an autoclave testing service?
