So is the car!
I got the car as a rolling chassis, the paint was already on it. It will be solid white except for the hood.
What's the plans for the hood?
A car that is driven on the street, insured, registered and can run in True Street. 30 mile cruise and three passes without opening the hood. Street car.
I may leave it the way it is. If any of you follow NMRA or Fun Ford then you probably know Derrick Smith, he painted the car.
Not much for that era Mustang but it looks like its fun to drive. Not bad.
I'm guessing that you were spawned by a one-off mutated chromosome resulting from your father humping the decaying carcass of beached squid right before he humped your mother in a dumpster at the rear of Hooters two days before he committed suicide by bungee jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge without a rope.
I take this back, I don't like cars that belong to dickheads.
Sorry for the sense of humor.
It is a joke man. Lighten up.
We all have different opinions of street cars. I wouldnt drive my car to cali and back, that would be stupid when I have vehicles that are much more efficient. My car is a hobby and I built it to be fun to drive, and fast at the track for a "streetcar".
Come race me!
The word street driven is so retarded. I have a friend who has a '97 cobra doing 747 rwhp. He needs 100 octane to run. Its driven on the street, but I dont call it a street driven car. Thats just ridiculous. Whats street driven to me, isnt street driven to my dad, etc.
Never ending debate. From my experience people who pull the "its not a street car" bit cant compete. Not 100% of the time but at least 95%.
If I have to lift at the big end because I dont want a chute on my streetcar then it is obvious where it spends more time.
It is aneverending debate. The meaning is open to speculation by anyone and everyone. I had a friend who had a '77 Nova (god ugly car) with a 12:1 comp. 383, fully tubbed/caged, and drove it with slicks to school and around town. The thing was a full on drag car. He called it a street car, ran low 11's all day. If thats a street car then Im the tooth fairy. But of course there are no set rules to what a street car is, so he could call it what he wanted. Its all in the eye of the owner I guess....what one thinks isnt streetable, or "legal" differs from what another thinks I guess.
Finally someone agrees. Street car.
Occording to drag racing rules(i forget the class) pretty much if it passes inspection its a street car. But their "Street Cars" are running mid to low 10's.
