I know this may seem like a redundant question, but what factors does everybody use to determine if their workout went as planned. Is it the pump? sometimes I feel pumped after just one set, sometimes I never get a decent pump going. Is it being sore the next day (or two)? Some days I just dont get sore anymore. Am I not working hard enough. Is it working til muscle failure? I do this almost every time and Im starting to think that I might be overworking certain groups? I lift as hard as I can and usually to (or near) muscle failure. I have a very vague routine that I follow that has worked well for me so far. Should I grab Christophers Routine and live by it?
