I switched from DB Press to Military Press maybe 6 weeks ago. At first I had 95lbs on there and now I'm up to 135 for 9 reps on my first set. I should mention that I can only reach 6 reps on successive sets. But I've been doing them in front of my face bringing the bar to a few inches above my collar bone. Is this correct? What's the deal with doing it behind your head?? Since working my shoulders this afternoon though, I notice some pain in my right shoulder. I think I am gonna switch back to DB press for the time being as I don't wanna fuck up my rotator cup.
