it's hard with no shoes on.

...Or you could just perform the movement in a more difficult way which actually hits your abs better.
and what way would this be.
im always up to suggestions.
Do you keep your legs straight throughout the movement until your feet touch the bar? Do you do it slow enough?
yeah legs are straight, and it is about 2 seconds up 2 seconds down.
theres just no burn any more.

I cant get past parrallel any advice for getting it up?
Also remember that the higher above the bar your feet go, the less you actually used your abs...if that makes sense.

dumbbell between your feet, or ankle weights is what i do. i was lucky and have 20lb ankle weights from back in soccer when I was like 12
I don't think I could do what ceaze posted witha DB... I'm pretty sure I'd drop it on my head.
BTW ceaze I hope that's an ankle brace and not one black sock and one white.........
