50% chuck, 30% ribeye, 20% bacon. Little salt, garlic, and pepper, grind it all up together.

grill over charcoal.

Another simpleton here, I just salt the burgers and throw them on a grill. Screw all the fancy bullshit.

thick hamburger people in general are weird

NO CHEESE people are the fucking weirdest (unless you're lactose intolerant and then you get a pass)

people who put thick burgers on a smoker and let them sit there for ages at low temps are weird

people who add bread crumbs, milk, crackers and anything else to the mix are weird.
