I've used compound butter, and formed a patty around the knob of butter.melt a little butter and mix it while you make patties and its damn good.
To be honest I never added anything to my burgers until the last month. My girl insisted that they're better with a bit of egg and bread crumbs. So I tried it and and she was right. Adding eggs into your ground beef to give it better consistency is very common apparently. I never did it for but I looked into it and when you're looking at large batch situations it's almost always the case
All I'm saying is I've tried both and while they're both good, one makes for a better Burger creating and eating experience. My girl knows better than I do about plenty of things. I'm a nurse and I know a lot more about being a nurse than she does even though a lot of people would say that as a straight dude, that is "not my domain"Listening to a woman on anything re grilling ain’t no way boycmon @morrowalnut thats your DOMAIN son.
I don’t allow lactose intolerance as an excuse to not cheese the burger. There are plenty of cheeses out there with barely any lactose in em.
