the sigma is 10-20 i think

i'll take the Tokina over the Nikon any day
Sigma also has a 12-24 however it didn't get good reviews from the pros. Stick to the Tokina or a good used Nikon 12-24.
As already mentioned though, the Sigma 10-20 is an excellent alternative.

I've heard good things about the sigma 10-20
I keep hearing about the bad QC that sigma has. How do you check to make sure you dont get a soft lens? Is there a particular setting you test it at?
