with a camera
and a tripod
and 4 images
I've done it... you stick your camera on a tripod, put it on a timer, go sit, let the picture take, get up, hit the shutter again with it on a timer, get in a different position, let the picture take.
Now put the two (or however many images you have) in photoshop all in the same file just on different layers, erase the layers away until you see all of the duplicate people...
I did something like this onces.
you have to have 3 twin brothers, obviously
Learn layer Masks
basically what everyone else said, layer masks and what not, erase away to see the other behind each layer. and obviously when taking the pics do it on a tripod to get the exact same position for the background.
here is one i did of my bro, playing rockband with himself... i kinda screwed it up a bit but i didnt spend too much time on it.
I just did this one in about two minutes with my Iphone leaned against the printer at work and a co-worker who was wondering why the hell he couldn't move anything when switching chairs.
definitely pretty easy to do..
make sure to keep the camera in manual mode so the exposure is the same
This was my favorite doing this
The key thing is...You have to know now to use your tripod. Sorry Smeghead, I couldn't help it.
tripod, same exposure, different poses, photoshop, cut/paste or layers.
