i feel like my flexibility is shit
i can do a front splits right now, still working on side splits. i also do arm and back flexibility as well but i dont know how to measure that
i'll stretch a little bit before each lift. my quads and hams before deadlifts/squats, my arms and chest before bench, etc..
I try to, but my flexibility is shot.
I can BARELY touch my toes now thanks to strengthening my posterior chain. It's something I intend to work on...
i feel like i should start
start with some mobility work. i currently do it as a warmup before lifting, but I'm about to move it to pre-sled dragging in the morning.
Stretching after lifts and on off days.
you have a link or anything?
hmm, cant find the thread that was posted about this last week.
magnificent mobility series --> http://www.magnificentmobility.com/
When is that "group buy" guy going to send out the copies?
<-- sent money, but no reply...
When did you send it and pm your real name....I've recieved some money and the DVD is in the process of being burned. I'll be sending out an update this weekend as there have been some new developments.
edit: iirc I recieved money from you but I am at work at the moment so I cant confirm.
It's always been on and off depending on how annoyed/tired I am after training, but recently I've made it part of the routine to stretch for ~30 mins before I head to sleep at night. Works out much better that way.
i dont stretch worth a shit, but i am still decently flexible
Stretching a muscle before an exercise decreases its performance. I've seen some people suggest that you should stretch the antagonist muscle before an exercise so that you perform better since inhibition from the antagonist muscle will be lower.
so you should stretch the worked muscle after the lift?
I'm waiting for my magnificent mobility DVD. My flexability is ass.
we're working on it man.....expect an email this weekend some time
it's taken longer then expected which I apologize for but some new stuff has come up....
I'm not stiffing folks, but it's just being a slow process....
the magnificent mobility stuff on the FTP helped me a ton. When school starts back up, i might try yoga once a week, as it sounds to increase my flexibility a bit.
Cool - no worries. I sent a follow-up email a few days ago seeing where the status was. You just answered my question.
i don't but i should
