When you're low carbing, how many carbs do you allow yourself a day?
a low amount? keto is usually under 20g a day(depending on caloric intake, macro is usually 5% carbs) and something like atkins is around 100g or less a day I believe. With atkins though you change the amount every so often I believe.
On my low carb day I eat 60g which is basically 2 apples.
20 g's a day? what the fuck? are you stage shape or something?
I'm currently doing ~50g a day.. I'd count that as "low"
3-4g is really low, 5-12g is low-med
i might be able to do 60. i'm wondering if going low carb would be beneficial for the 4 days that i don't work out. i'm already at 75 today though
I'm doing 30g/day and feel pretty good
low for me is 100g or less....right now I am getting WAY more than that but for a cut I do two days at 100g than a high day, repeat
200g is low for me.
i could do 100 easily. i'm averaging 125-150 right now
Going low carb may not be beneficial if you are looking to gain muscle mass. I have 1 low carb day per week and 1 high carb day per week - but they average out to the same 150g I usually eat per day.
Eating carbohydrates is not just for on-days, it's beneficial for overall recovery time. Cutting your carb intake to such low amounts at 60g would probably only slow muscle gain.

Less than 50 grams is low for me.
i stay at 300g a day. bloat the yoke.
I try to stay under 100.

low carb for me is around 50-60 i dun like it though. makes me light headed if i maintain it over extended periods of time. rather be around 100-150(closer to 100)

My normal days I end up around 50g total incidental carbs from protein powders and green veggies. Most of that is fiber though. My moderated carb day is 100-150g depending on how I feel. My high carb day is about 300-400g.
I've been using this carb rotation for probably 5-6 months now without much adjustment.
Dunno....went from 230 ~20-22% to 215 8-10%???

it's like people don't think they can lose fat on 200g of carbs
I actually feel just fine on low carb. And I'm losing fat REALLY quickly.. but you know, the best thing ever is just after you finish a cut and you start to EAT and your body goes "whoa.. ok - gimme all that food!!"
I'm not one of those people who has a huge energy boost from carbs and I don't have energy loss from low carb either.
What does that say about me? Good or bad glucose tolerance? Good I assume?
