i've already put 10,000 on my bike
bought my KTM in september and have put a bit over 9k on it so far
I normally drop 9- 12k per season on my bike
17,000 my 1st year
well mines my daily driver but i live 2 miles from my job and 1 from walmart and 2.5 from the gym but im only averaging 5k a year
i only put on about 3k miles a year, then again i live in kansas so there are some months that the bike isn't an option.
I rode my bike 699x and i just sold it today, after almost exactly 1 year of having it..
I'm doing 12k/yr the cold is slowing me down big time.
Bought mine brand new in August... turning 8k tomorrow.
People that actually use the bike, I hate fools that brag about their bike and then tell me it has 2k miles since 04. Damn squids especially here in NJ.
Weather is a bitch. Just winterized my 01 929 today. I bought it in March this year w/ 6700, today it had 9006. Not a whole lot, but, shit it had less than 1k/yr when I bought it!
I usually do a little over 1000 miles per month of good weather. So anywhere between 8-10k usually
Pretty flawed logic here.... There's plenty of people out there with vastly superior riding skills than yours with a LOT less miles.
You putting 100 miles to work everyday all year, doesn't make you half the rider someone would attends bi-monthly track days and barely puts 100miles a month on their bike.
Measuring someone's ability by how many miles they put on their bike might be a little flawed.
There aren't that many people who ride track and not street. Some? Sure. But not many.
Less than 2000kms over the past 3 seasons. It sucks bro's.
bought my bike in november, 2k on it so far.
Going to hit 10k today.
This past year (2010) I rode 7k miles...so far this year I've ridden 6 k miles, at this rate should be 15-20k this year on the bike
last year probably about 3k
the year before probably about 15k
this year, hoping to take a solo trip (at least i'm hoping it's solo) through canada so i should go over 10k.
16k in 8 months.
