Most here work them out daily.
*insert masturbation innuendo here*
They get worked along with heavy compound movements and grow with over all lean weight gain.
*insert repartee about wanting both forearms to be the same size*
That's what i have been banking on, but while the rest of me gains mass, my forearms are still lagging behind. It almost looks comical to see my bis and tris bottle neck into a little pipe.
i never work out my forearms
What's your bw?
i do then once a week
Do you have high body fat? Any photos of this huge difference?
I feel i work them just fine as an auxiliary muscle on most lifts
I'm around 22% BF, I'll take a pic today at the gym.
are you doing any back? anything that involves pulling uses your forearm
Yeah, of course. Problem is, when i work out my back my forearms fail long before my back does.
yeah I have the same problem sometimes, when I am on my last set or second to last set, my hands start losing grip. you can use wraps for that problem. another thing to do is hold db's in your hands till you can't anymore.
if I'm hitting everything twice per week, I'll do forearms 3x
if everything is 1x per week, forearms get 2x
i do the same for calves and abs.
I use chalk for almost all of my lifts, even DBs - unless it's really light weight. It makes a huge difference on how long I can maintain grip while at the gym.
I used to work forearms once a week, then twice a week, now not at all. I didn't really notice any difference between working them and not working them.
if you're just wanting to strengthen your grip, do farmers walks
I work them directly with grippers 2-3x a week.
well there's your problem.
