100 if I'm at an indoor pistol range. All bets are off if I'm out with long guns on family property.
At an actual rifle range around here I shoot probably 40 rounds in 30 minutes.
it's not so bad though, b/c American Shooting Center (my range) charges by the day, so I'm not in any rush...
more than i can afford
My range is pay by the day, so I'm not in any hurry. They also have a limit of 6 rounds that can be loaded at any 1 time. In any event, I usually shoot for about an hour. In that time, I usually go through about 100 rounds of 9mm, 100 rounds of 22LR, and 10-20 12 gauge shot gun shells (use my shotgun to "finish off" the paper targets after I shoot them up w/ my pistols).
if I'm testing customers guns it could be 1k+
Depends on what I'm practicing...
P30L/USP IPSC? Probably 150. Precision shooting with either? 50 or so.
100-150 factoring in hot/cold times
I probably shoot 100 rounds in 30 minutes because there are cease fires and I don't want to burn that much monies. If i'm shooting the .22lr, probably 50 because im trying to target shoot.
proly ~ 6 mags if im using my ar.
Yeah. At least in the winter. I've never seen them enforce the 6 round limit, but it is clearly posted so I take heed to avoid any problems.
They also have a "1 round per second" speed limit, so I suppose this prevents me from practicing double tap shots?? They did really go off on one of my buddies, but then again, he emptied an entire magazine in rapid fire.
100 rounds of 9mm.
Alternate between verrrry slow shooting at 50 feet, and rapid fire at 21 feet.
Ammo is fucking spendy these days. I remember when I used to burn through 200 rounds of 9mm on a typical weekly trip to the range, and i'd just buy ammo directly from the range.
In 30 minutes!?!
If I'm out doing handgun drills then around a 100 sounds right. If I'm out with my .308 rifle... maybe 10 or so.
Yeah, that works out to a round every 1.8 seconds, for 30 minutes straight. I don't know where one would find the time to load the ammo into magazines during that 30 minutes.
umm yar has midgets to pre load all his mags for him
Theres a reason I only take 2 mags to the range with me. It's so I conserve ammo.
Personally 75-100 in 30 minutes
He never said he was shooting a handguard, only 10 Drums
2 boxes of 50 usually.
I wonder if my dads old reloading press still works.
If I go by myself w/ one of my boys I can easily go through 300-400 rounds. (9mm and .223)
If I bring my wife.... She can easily burn up 300 rounds of 9mm herself.
Now if we go out to the desert shooting. I've seen my wife dump 600-750 rounds of 9mm and start bitching at me that the "box is empty" then I get the "Did you bring anymore" with the "look"
We've burnt up at least 1k in a couple of hours out there
And now that my oldest boy is into it and I have a .22 for him to shoot. It's gonna cost me an arm and a leg to do shooting now
he asked how much in 30 minutes....
In about 30 minutes with the Remington 700, probably 30-50 rounds.
If its with a handgun, probably 100-200.
