never gone for a 1rm...done a full complex with a 45lber and it wasn't that tough...
what all did you do in your complex? i started to do complex's to help w/ jiu jitsu
i dont do them,id probably hurt myself
I don't really see the benefit and it seems like it'd be really easy to mess my shoulder up.
i see the benefits, i just dont have the technique and id have to work in an olympic lifting day , even though i already lift heavy 4x a week. just not worth it for me at this point. i think one should have a good base of strength before doing the olympic lifts anyways, and i have a ways to go
I can do 95-115lbs really easily with a 1 armed BB snatch. I can get 135 up but havn't been able to finish it.
I might try them tomorrow just dicking around. They look cool at least
how much you do with a DB?
i have a friend who isn't nearly as strong as you, nor as big, but can can do a 110lb db
I dunno our DB's only go up to 100.
Is that were you just throw a dumbbell in the air and hold it, with one arm, starting from the ground? I think i have tried 60-65lb before and got it fairly easy...

i just did them for the first time yesterday after snatches.
worked up to 85 on barbell....they were fun.
DB's only go up to 110. Never wanted to attempt it one-armed with the bar, not that broly.
