I was in AZ hanging out with my boy, and my friend here in SD asked me to see if I could find 9mm, they had it 23.99 a box.

Dude probably thought I was an idiot he’s asking if i want a tumble round or self defense and I just sat there like uh isn’t it all self defense?

thankfully they didn’t have a limit on how many i could buy I guess most places are limiting people to one box.

I'm still using hornady critical defense 9mm in all my g19. Think I paid $20/25 years ago

Back half of 2018 through 2019 I bought 1000 round box every month. Cheapest was $140 for a 1000 round box of brass cased S&B or Blazer.

I'm good on ammo.

Except now that I have an MP5, I have to actually watch how much I shoot. Easy to go through 300-500 rounds in one session with this thing.

9mm range ammo used to be $0.16/rd up until Covid. Now it's around $0.65/cpr+ if you can find it. That looks like self defense ammo which is typically $1/rd+

All manufacturers recently raised prices, but in general, all popular calibers are nearly impossible to find. 1000 round cases of fmj 9mm selling for $800
