How much protein per shake?

    I know the majority of protein should come from solid food when possible, but is there really a limit on the amount of protein one's body can actually process in one serving? What if I had a 4 scoop protein shake (as crazy as that sounds?) which would be approx 90 grams of whey protein. Would my body actually be able to assimilate it?

    Sorry if this question has been asked before guys, just trying to eliminate some uncertainty here.

    i remember about 5 years ago i mixed a package of myoplex with two scoops of designer whey in about 24 ounces of milk.

    the next day i shit powder.. it was crazy

    I can't imagine your body using 90g's of whey in one sitting.

    The most I ever go at once is a double scoop and that is only after a big workout or if I am low on protein for that day due to not having time to eat.

    i use cytogainer and 4 scoops = 54g of protein so thats how much i use in one sitting

    I've always stuck to 2 scoops at most, skim milk, and a little peanut butter.

    Prolly around 55-60g
