So I can play games.
easy, use the keyboard or mouse USB -> PS2 generbener
Well I meant more like so I can use the monitor with the PS2, not actually use the ps2 through the computer.
I know they make the XBox->VGA converters, not sure if they have them for PS2 or not.
And here I was, about to crack a stupid joke about PS/2 ports.
ive asked this before. im at home right now, and my computer is at college. when i get back, i plan on hooking up my ps2 through s-video to my tvtuner card. if that doesnt work so well, ill get a s-video->vga cable
Yeah, but they just up-sample composite or S-Video signals to VGA, so it looks like piss...But some do support component out...even then, you'd most likely need a widescreen display for that.
I know the Dreamcast supported VGA-Out...And Sega sold VGA boxes for it, but I have no clue about the PS2.
The Dreamcast was the faster piece of hardware anyway and had much better software...The PS2's library is full of recycled corporate crap in my opinion.
