Is it possible to hide code from being seen through source code?
What would you want to hide?
For seo, you would have some serious repercussions...
What are you trying to hide? Like 07 said, I wouldn't recommend it.
js obfuscation. only stops the morons though.
just didn't want any one taking the code
If you have anything you'd consider that much of a trade secret (highly unlikely), then you'd be better off doing the work on the back end.
If they want to, they will.
I'M ON YOUR INTERNETS STEALING YOUR SHITTY HTML SOURCE.
seriously, why do you give a fuck?
It's fucking HTML. It's not like it's a fucking algorithm to cure cancer or something.
Even with JS tricks etc, the only people who are going to be fooled by it are most likely not the people you're worried about. If anyone is "going after" your sourcecode, no doubt they know at least a bit about it, and will get past anything you can come up with in seconds.
Steal that, motherfucker.
Yeah, and the Titanic was unsinkable, a Mac can't get a virus, and Linux never crashes.
Any person capable of undoing that is a person that most likely would have no reason to steal somebody's html source.
hey, how do i do flyovers on links?
You don't want to do this. It's just HTML.
agreed. complete waste of time.
