if anyone has any ideas please help!! Yesterday we shut down out whole network and after we restarted everything no one is able to print on our HP Color LaserJet 4600dn. The printer is connected using a network cable going to our switch. We are able to connect to the printers web JetAdmin and verify the printers IP address (192.168.1.17) We treid to reinstall the drivers on one of the local machines and it was able to find the printer and install, when it also the computer says the printer is ready to print. When ever we try to print anything it fails. What we have running in our network: 1 Server 2003 standard edition 6 XP workstations 3 Win 2000 workstations 1 24-port Dell Power Connect Giga-switch 1 HP Color LaserJet 4600dn printer 1 D-link 4 port router (connects to the switch) 1 Motorola broadband cable internet modem I have a feeling it has to do with the server, but I have no idea whats wrong. Also the server no longer is abel to see the computers connected to it. ( before we were able to use exploerer and see the computers listed in My Network places) PS We also tried doing a cold restart on the printer, it didnt fix the problem either, and we are able to ping it.
