This is something I can tell I am going to really enjoy. First day of learning and rolling. Was there for 2 hours. Time to soak in the tub

Today was just an open mat time, so it was just some people giving me pointers. Pretty much was just showed the basic. Bridging, shrimping, cant remeber the proper name for it but side control with one arm behind the head and how to position it into an arm triangle. Also how to do a leg triagle with my currently poor flexability. Also got showed how to push a mount into guard.

Then I rolled with some guys for around an hour using some of the things I had learned. While we were rolling the guys would give me some pointers on what to do from the positions I was in. The people I rolled with told me that I had pretty good defensive instincts, but I have alot to learn on the offensive area

And I only appear to have a silver half dollar sized bruise on my right bicep, but I think that is more from friction when one of the guys I was rolling with was wearing a Gi

Soak in a tub with epsom salt, helps out a lot.
