Accord, singing that shit will be about the best time you have in boot camp.
You don't do it much until the last week. A few days before the moto run, you'll do a pre-moto run, which is just like 2.5 miles. But it is awesome and it pumps you up big time. It is even better than the moto run. During the moto run (3.5 miles --- for some reason there is always confusion and people think it is 5 miles. 3.5 miles, remember that.) the only thing you think about is seeing your family in a few hours. But on the pre-moto run, it's just you and your DI's. Your First Sergeant, gunny, or CO might even come take it and sing some cadence
If I could pay a DI to come sing cadence to me, I would, because you won't believe how much further you can run when the motivation is top notch.
We had some pathetic fucker who didn't deserve the title WALK on the moto run. That shit was being recorded on camera for the boot camp DVD, and his ass walked.
I don't know if its just because i'm still a boot and still all ooorah motivated, but in boot camp they teach you to never walk when you are tired on a run, but to just jog a little slower. I have too much pride to walk when i'm supposed to be running, but i'm a pro at running really slow .
While i'm being stupid and giving tips, HERES ONE. Don't be the tallest person on your log during log drill day.
At Keesler, during techschool the Navy would march (walk) by singing :
WABADEE DEE-DEE DOOH
WABADEE DEE-DEE DOOH
DOO DAA LAA DAH DEE-DEE DOOH
We were always like
Yea they were singing same odd cadence at sheppard also
I remember some guys at Sheppard reciting a version of the song Tiny Bubbles
Accord you ganked that straight from the cd
It's all I ever listen to
So hows that overpriced .22 treatin ya ?
sadly i believe you
I remember some flight at basic doing that also
In, and @ "he told me to stfu"
The Navy is so gay with that walking cadence of theirs.
anybody remember this from a few yrs ago ? I dont know what I been told, but the WB is the place !!
You've got some serious issues.
