I dont mind them.
it's cookie-cutter pesudoemo rock/pop, but that one song gets to me
I like that song, but that's it. I'm actually sick of that song now, it seems like I hear it 50 times a day.
I have a soft spot for blaring major powerchords and computer-altered vocal harmonies
exactly. I'm sure I just haven't heard it enough yet
turn off your radio or at least don't listen to anything above 91.9 FM... public stations > *.commercial
i love hoobastank.. the reason is just the main hit.. me dont like it that much
I like all sorts of music. I dont really care what it is.
I liked it at first, then someone said he says "and the weasel is you" so I listened to it again, but now it's been overplayed to death
I kinda like them
its that boring as fuck poprock made to be marketed that gets irritating as fuck when you hear it 11ty billion times
I like Hoobastank a lot, but that song bugs me.
i like it
the guy can't sing for shit though I heard them on Jay Leno, it was horrible.
I like his voice on the CD. I could give two shits what he sounds like on Leno. If I judged bands on how they sound during live TV performances, I'd never listen to another song in my entire life. No one has ever sounded good live on TV.
and it makes you all trendi skanks
actually TV performances are one of the only places where they don't have the luxury of throwing up hardware that will fix someone's voice, so that's about the only time that you can gauge if a band is actually talented or not Evanescence is exactly the same way, Amy Lee blows live... computers and audio engineers do all the grunt work, sadly.
I know what you mean though, they make a compelling sound on the album. It's just said because there was a time where people went to see bands because they had a good sound to them with nothing more in hand than a mic and a guitar, ya know?
teehee, what bands do you like? seriously, I'm curious.. or at least what genres
I see Fuel thursday night.
My whole point is to like a trendi song, but not like a band is very top 40 and trendi. Might be a bad thing, might not be a bad thing.
It's like that stupid uncle cracker song, or that finger 11 song. There's 5 or 6 people who i've heard bought the cd just to figure out that the band really isn't all soft and sappy on the cd and they hate it.
I understand where you're coming from, but even groups who should sound good live, like Dave Matthews or someone like that, still sound like ass to me when their live performance is broadcast on TV.
I like the song, but when I heard the acoustic version - he can't sing to fucking save his life.
