So I went to the range today, haven't been since Dec 31, so it was time. I only brought 130 rounds, but I set up, well I did something stupid, on round 109 I thought it was 110, thought my slide locked back and was set to reload. In my eyes I saw the slide locked back, but the trigger was still reset. So while bring the gun back, I felt the trigger reset and pulled it to reset it before I reloaded.... yeah, I was wrong, the slide wasn't locked back, I saw incorrectly, and there was still a round in it. Gun was downrange, but very embarressing as I've never done something that stupid before and the range master came over to make sure everything was okay and the ol' "Make sure you don't do that again" speech. Here i went to relieve some stress, but now the stress of making a stupid mistake only piled on to my stress before going to the range.
