need a job fast, don't know what to do, my parents are going to pissed when they find out.
thats sooo just got to pick up the pieces and find another one
can i ask why?
Called in sick.
I don't think this should belong in here..
that scares me to call in sick again. I'm sorry , just gotta get up and keep moving forward. Find another job. Good luck.
Calling in sick repetitively? Can you prove you were sick? ie: doctors note
Sorry to hear that.
Do people actually even do that? Get a doctors note.
To me it's just a formality that isn't that important.
If he used up all his sick days from before though I see the use.
My bf had to get a doctors note for calling in sick. He had gone to work and his boss sent him home until he was able to get the doctors note.
That's pretty shitty, not only do you miss a day of work, but you gotta pay out of your pocket to get a fkin signature.... It's horseshit. At my job we only need that if we are going to be away with an injury for a while, that didn't happen on the job.
It does suck. Still waiting now for the doctor bills...
I take it you haven't worked much?
No I worked since I was 16, am 29 now.
Its how it worked from where I'm from.
Take to many sick days and yeah, expect to be fired. But we had a number of sick days we could take whenever in a year. Taking too many was still bad. I think if you went over this number then you needed a doctors signing. Or if you wore gone for more then 1 or 2 days.
But just calling in saying you wore sick was enough
Is this really all there was too it, weren't there any other kind of tensions at the job? And why would your parents get angry if you get fired, for being sick? Another question where you really sick?
My advice would be to goto your local job agency and let them do the job searching for you. That doesn't mean you don't have to do anything yourself. Scatter around newspapers and do anything, even a menial job will do, from that menial job, keep on job searching for something better until you achieve a satisfying job.
congratulations! a job is a job. you can find another one. there's always temping. don't take it personally seriously look at this as a stepping stone onto bigger and better things.
