I have a confession, I've never squatted before

    I've never done a squat :sad2:

    I just finish a huge cut and i'm ready to start lifting heavy. I'm unsure of proper form for a squat and I don't really have a spotter that can help me out.

    Anyone care to post a video of proper form? Any tips to make sure I'm keeping proper form?

    So, you're supposed to keep your feet relatively flat, right?

    when I try the motion without weight, it feels like I should be on my toes :wtc:

    Even with weight I natrually went up on my toes, I need to work on that :hsugh:

    I can do 1/4 squats without going on my toes, maybe i should start there? :noes:

    I guess your feet were pretty close together? Try wearing a shoe with a heel to help.

    My biggest problem with squats is where to put the weight on my back. I just find it hard to find a good spot where it doesn't really hurt.
