At least the 10-22 had a rebate and coupon code at B&H. Can't wait for it to get here. CC debt here I come!

Now I need a 77mm CP filter boooooooooooooooooo. I like my Hoya Pro1, but anybody here have the top of the line B+W one?

Yeah, just got my latest pocket wizards and filters order from BH which includes the B&W circ polarizer. Have not used it yet but it is the slim one, was almost $200 but looks very very cool.

Only thing I don't like about the Hoya is that it feels "soft". It's hard to describe. The images look great, but I feel like I'm going to scratch the filter.

Everything else about it though is wonderful.

    Tamron 28-75 2.8, ($300) 50 1.8. (haven't decided how much $$$ for that... maybe $60? Not sure what they're going for).

I sold my 1.4x teleconverter today.

After some research, it looks like Heliopan uses some of the same glass that B+W does.

I think I'm sticking with the Hoya Pro1 though. Even though I may want a filter with a harder finish, the Hoya hasn't given me any trouble at all, and it's about $50 cheaper on Ebay.

search for the code, omit the #. It will bring up the discounted item.

I heard they expire Nov 1.

And yeah, that's a killer price on the 70-200. I almost got one :o

If I didn't just buy a 430ex I would probably take advantage of the 580ex

College town pawn shops ftw - no telling what kinda deals you're going to find when kids are in need of cash - best times are right before tution/dues are due for the next semester.
